Ok. I'm ready to hang my head in shame...

I can't believe it's been over a month since my last post, I don't even know where the time has scurried away to!

So much has happened as well. Which goes someway to explain why its been so long since I've written a blog post.

First of all, I had my degree show to prepare for and my final major project to complete. Deadlines ruled my life for several weeks, but on the plus side I discovered a new love for coffee! Only a few days later, I had a hectic weekend of moving out of my beloved house which has been my main home for the past two years at University. It was so very sad, physically and mentally exhausting too! Having to say goodbyes, cleaning the empty shell of a house, handing over the keys, leaving behind the memories, and the realisation the we're all never going to be in the same place at the same time again. Even now, I miss it terribly!

On top of finishing my degree, and moving out of my house (said to be the most stressful thing other than getting married), I was also back and forth between Farnham and Norfolk because a) my uncle was going into hospital for a triple heart bypass (which went very well despite getting MRSA) and b) my USA uncle had come to visit because of the previously mentioned operation on his brother...and I'd not seen him for 5 years so how could I miss out on seeing him this time!

Cue coming home, back to sunny ol' Norfolk! I must have spent two weeks recovering from the sheer exhaustion of everything! Just pottering about the house, doing the occasional baking, unpacking the occasional box, visiting friends i'd neglected for several weeks, celebrating a handful of 21st birthday's in a short time, and trying to keep up with my running love. To be honest, running around my village has made me appreciate where I live alot more. Seeing Fleggburgh bathed in sunlight at 6am, made me realise just how idyllic my little village is.

Once I'd recovered a bit, the great job hunt began...and ended fairly soon afterwards. Knowing that I'll need a month out for my visit to China in July, I've purposely chosen not to get a job until I fly because...who will employ someone who wants a months holiday a few weeks after starting? And to be quite honest, when am I ever going to have a period of time where I can get away with NOT working, so I should just enjoy it right? Its only a few weeks right?

And enjoy it, I have! I even went on a mini holiday to Corfu last week! It was lovely to get away just for a few days, relaxing in the warm sunshine, listening to good music, enjoying good company,  and most importantly, eating AMAZING food! One particular restaurant reignited my LOVE of Tzatziki...YUM!

Hopefully, I will now do a MASSIVE update of pictures :)
